If you’re a Network Marketer or want to be one that has a chance at success, then you need to understand that you are part of business model that is viable and legal. If it weren’t companies like Avon, Pampered Chef and Mary Kay wouldn’t have been around for decades. Were there bad people who did bad things and gave the industry a bad name? Sure. But that happens in most industries.

The challenge for a lot of newer folks getting involved in the direct sales/network marketing industry is in trying to fight the perception of the 1970′s in todays 2010 society.

Whatever your primary opportunity, you must do your best due diligence when choosing to become a distrubutor in a company – just as you would any job you might take. After all, being a distrutor is a like a job and if you work hard and do well for a few years you have great opportunity ahead of you. Network Marketing is NOT a pyramid scheme. It is NOT a get rich quick scheme. Network Marketing is a form of direct sales where a company pays independent contractors to market their products, we are the outside sales team.
