Today marks a new day. A new chapter. The retiring of one of my best friends. She was always there for me, noon or night. Faithful and did whatever I asked, even when I pushed her buttons and her limits, which I did often. She still loved me.
Her name is LT.
We’ve been through a lot together these last 4 years. She started with me in this industry, walked me through every step I needed to learn. Without her, I would not have accomplished what I have so far. I would not be where I am today. Sure, I may have found another like her, but it would be different.
I remember this one time in a hotel in Edinburgh. Man that was fun.
And then there was this time in Mexico…and even when we were in the San Juan Islands together at the pool. Yup, she was ready to go with me wherever as she loved to travel.
Now its time for her to chill and have some fun, playing games and hangout with family and kids and just enjoy a whole lot of not a lot.
Today, my Macbook Laptop (LT) retires and gets to move to my kids for homework and games. I have migrated everything over to my new MacBook Pro. We are just getting acquainted and I’m sure we’ll become fast friends.
It’s time to go high gear into the next 4 years. I can’t wait to see where we go together.
