It has been a while since I’ve written a blog post my dear readers. I took the first quarter of 2011 off from writing. I didn’t mean to, it just happened. The break started when in January I was working on a revamp of this site. I welcomed my website’s first birthday in December and decided to give her a little makeover over the course of the month. Well, life happened and January came and went while I helped a lot of people grow their business and put my projects to the side.

I then set out with the best of intentions for February. I was on track, had done some strategy layout for the site and was ready to implement and make the changes. The weekend I went away for some creative computer time my hubby ended up in the hospital and I had to rush home. The next couple of weeks were a blur as I processed life and worked with my clients – my site still untouched. I vowed to get back on track.

March then came along. One of the projects I was working on was coming to fruition (more on that later) and while I was completing on that one of my best friends was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer out of the blue after a routine doctor visit. My family stepped in to help her family and other items were put on hold or moved slower.

I don’t tell you this as a sob story or for you to feel bad for me. I share so you know what’s been going on and I tell you this because Life Happens and gets in our way even when we’re getting in our own way already.

Well, it is April 1st and I’ve decided this is a fine time for a reset and to get back into action here.

Spring cleaning. Easter. Rebirth of Christ. Whatever you want to call it and whatever motivates you, it is time to start taking action again. (Don’t get me wrong, I have been taking some action over the past few months, just not my normal speed of action).

I have two posts to share for you from friends I admire and trust. They’ve helped me this week and I hope they help you.
