My Biggest Breakthrough and Maximum Leverage Story

by | Aug 9, 2011 | My Everyday Life | 11 comments

I don’t usually post two days in a row, but this week it just cannot be helped. Yesterday I wrote about what breaking through barriers helped me achieve – a Mastermind Weekend with Industry Leaders in Austin, TX.  Last week, I wrote about Maximum Leverage and how much it has helped me in the few short weeks as a member.

Today I am going to share how those are tied together.

You see, Daegan Smith and Maximum Leverage helped me get on that boat and he doesn’t even know it!

Here’s a video I just shot that I want to share with you as part of a contest that Daegan Smith is running this week. He asked the question: What has been your biggest breakthrough….well here’s my breakthrough story and I’m sticking to it:

Some of you who know me may laugh but I’m serious, there are times in the past year I’ve felt like a fraud or that “those who can, do and those who can’t, teach”. I get a lot of positive feedback from my students and clients which tells me different than those thoughts/beliefs that randomly run through my head. And now, I’ve proved it to myself, I am NOT a fraud. When I implement, I can get it done. And therefore, if I choose to spend my time helping my clients or the teammates in my business, then – so be it, that’s my choice. THAT my friends is called a HUGE BREAKTHROUGH.

To my readers and students, you’re the best and I am living proof that if you set your mind to something and break through the barriers – you can achieve what you want in life. So what are you waiting for?

All my best,

VaNessa. I love honesty and yours shone through on your video. Thanks. Sometimes I still catch myself rolling my eyes when I see the “wannabees” writing or speaking about something they really don’t know a thing about and I wonder “does nobody respect honesty anymore.”

    You’ve restored my faith. THANKS.

Thanks Joyce. I’m a no BS kinda girl or at least I try my best to be. Gets me in trouble sometimes but I’d rather call a spade a spade and have the truth too 🙂

    Hey Vanessa,
I love the Video! Those are some pretty big breakthroughs and it’s cool that you are taking some time to focus on your own stuff right now. I think that you’re a great coach and I’m looking forward to working with you in the future.
Keep doing what you’re doing… It looks like you have some pretty cool stuff going on for you right now!

    VaNessa,

You are a true inspiration to us all. I never had a doubt in my mind that you were one of those that fell into the category of ” Those who do, do. Those who don’t, teach”. I am proud to call you my coach, mentor, and most importantly friend.
Have a GREAT time in Austin with the elite inner circle you are part of. Please come back and “inject” that knowledge into us all!

    Tom

    VaNessa –

You are SO not a fraud – grin. And don’t feel like the Lone Ranger either. I’ve had similar struggles and balancing acts between my own marketing and supporting my coaching peeps.

All part of the journey though, yeah? You’re doing GREAT things – keep on keepin’ on 😉

    Hi VaNessa,
You’re right, it doesn’t matter how much you know or learn unless you use it, you’re using it well.

Have fun on the boat and learn a lot while your at it.

Looks like you’ve really found a great system and things are going so well for you! Enjoyed your video … congratulations!

    Hey VaNessa,
I appreciated your down to earth style from the very moment we connected. You are great to work with – firm when I need it, extremely patient and no BS. I am looking forward to continuing my internet marketing journey with you. I know that as you grow, I will grow. What a great way to work. At the risk of sounding too sappy, I feel grateful that “magnetics” or “the law of attraction” brought us together and the universe is unfolding, as it should.

This is such an important breakthrough Vanessa. I can really relate because I’ve been in somewhat of the same place. Feeling like a fraud is not something you’re alone in feeling, believe me.

I’m building my business part time, and I teach others how to best leverage their time to do the same. But like anything else, when things get humming and time gets limited, we sometimes forget to “walk the walk” and do as I say, not as I do.

That’s how I’ve been feeling, so your video was really inspirational to me right now. Thanks for sharing your story and inspiration!

    Vanessa,

Thanks for sharing your insight. This was a true break through for me to learn about at the early st ages of my online network marketing quest. I can’t wait to get more involved!
