Let Go and Let Someone Else Do It

Hey Folks – A short lesson for you today on the value of time vs. money. In my last post I mentioned that there have been some challenges that have delayed certain projects for me but that I was now back to taking action. As I revamp this wonderful site I came across a technical challenge. And I spend hours trying to alter that portion of the site.

After spending many hours fiddling with this one aspect of my site I finally, just moments ago, let go of the need to want to do it myself so I would know how. I just emailed my web developer friend who helps on other projects and asked for help.I didn’t feel the need to spend more hours on something I know someone else can do quickly and save me some headache.

Your time is valuable. Spend it wisely and productively.

My point is – sometimes you have to let go of the control and let someone help you. And yes, sometimes you have to pay for that help. Releasing the frustration and anxiety is worth every penny and the job still gets done the way you want it.

Go be productive and have a great day!

    What an awesome message VaNessa!
It not only serves you well in your dreams and goals, but think of how empowering that is every day. Being a Jack-of-all-Trades means you never quite master the tasks, you get by. By focusing on your talents and knowing when to bring in someone who has talents where you don’t, everything flows so much better.

    Timeless message,
    Val 😉

Great point here as I have a natural tendency to want to do it all by myself. The result is usually fatigue and stress.

Most financially successful people that I know pay people to do relative low level tasks so that they can focus on the bigger ones.
